Prototype
Creating clickable prototypes

Export All Pages
Ctrl+Shift+Alt+P

Displays a dialog box wich can export a clickable prototype of your pages. To link your pages together through clickable zones you should use the Add Link command (description below).

Export To
By default the prototype will export to the same folder as the one your Visio document is in. You should make sure your document is saved somewhere if you use this setting so WorkFlow knows where ot export it. You can also choose any other folder on your computer (or a mounted network drive) by using the "browse" button.

Pages
Uncheck any page that you do not want exported in your clickable prototype. The html will not be generated and the page name will not appear in the prototype's navigation menu (on the left side).

Options
Destination path of the generated prototype files.

Export This Page
Ctrl+Alt+P

Exports only the active page using the settings selected in the "Export All Pages" command above. If the active page was set as not exportable in that dialog box this will throw an error.

Whenever you add or delete an exportable page to your document you should make sure you export all pages since this will update the navigation menu in the prototype.

Add Link
Ctrl+Shift+L

Displays a dialog box which allows you to add or edit the link information attached to the selected shape(s) on the active page. This makes the shape(s) clickable once they are exported in a prototype (using the commands above).

To enter a relative link (to a page in the document), just enter the page name in the field (using the auto-complete or the dropdown). The field's border will become red if the page name doesn't exist in the document, and green if it does. To link to another url entirely (ex: google.com), start your url with "http://" and WorkFlow will automativally recognize it as being external.

Show / Hide Viewport
Ctrl+Shift+Alt+W

Shows or hides the viewport on all pages in the active document. The viewport is a shape you can drop on your page from WorkFlow's stencil panel. It allows you to define the area of the page which will be visible in your clickable prototype. Shapes that are in the grey zone (outside rectangle) will not be shown in the prototype.

You can define one viewport for all pages in your document by placing it in a background page that they all share.
